Intentionally Unplugged with Denise Roland | Episode 31

Denise Roland Episode 31

This week's episode is with the founder of Intentionally Unplugged, aimed at equipping and empowering families to have healthy boundaries with technology.  Denise is a mom of 3 and a teacher, so she sees first hand the impact technology and screens has on her and her kids' lives.  She gives us some suggestions on how to navigate screen time with ourselves and with our kids, especially during these times when it seems like we are all required to be in front of a computer.

This interview really hits home with me because I struggle to separate with my phone and use it as a crutch whenever I'm bored, almost like a reflex.  I try to make a conscious habit of putting it away when I get home from work, but there always seems to be an excuse to take it back out.  Just know that you're not alone out there, and the tips from this episode can be beneficial to all of us!

Also, this will be my last episode as I take a break for a little while to "intentionally unplug".  Our second child was just born this week, so I want to take some time off of interviewing and editing and enjoy her and have some fun with my family!

I hope you enjoy the episode and please don't forget to leave a review, subscribe, and/or follow to help spread the mission of MOVRS!  Thank you!
